Busy Little Bears
This is the first blog in a series of introductions to businesses that I think you'll all love to know about. First up is Busy Little Bears run by one of my fellow Cheltenham Mumboss club members and another local cotswolds business.
Busy Little Bears is a family-run business that was established after it’s founder, Tania became a Mum.
As a busy Mum she recognised the need for a product that would occupy and entertain busy little fingers and curious minds both whilst at home and out and about. The product needed to be interesting, stimulating, fun, educational, compact, portable and easy to use.....and so Busy Little Bears and these gorgeous activity bags were born.
Tania explains "I am sure all parents can relate to those moments when you need something to entertain or distract little ones be it at home or when on the go. The times when you need to get the washing on, feed the cat, make an important phone call, attend an appointment, meet a friend for a cuppa or endure a dreaded long journey. I have designed our activity play bags with these moments in mind to give you some time do do what you need to do or to make your life that little bit easier. It is not surprising our bags have been nicknamed by previous customer as “mummy’s little lifesaver”!"
Not only do the bags occupy and entertain little ones, they have been specifically designed to stimulate, educate and encourage both independent and interactive play and to aid in the child’s development. The colourful drawstring bags are compact and portable allowing them to easily be slipped into a handbag, changing bag or the bottom of a pushchair.
Busy Little Bears currently offer activity bags in two ranges – for babies (0-24 months) and for early years (18 months to 4 years).
Tania is so passionate about what she does. Her view of success is "If I can give other parents the gift of a few moments peace whilst they enjoy a cuppa, a natter or just to put the washing on then I know I have succeeded!"
