I received a message from a good friend of mine living in Switzerland today telling me about how her 3 and a half year old son had been poorly all weekend. She asked me to share her message here...

"Sebby had mild food poisoning Friday morning (from half a dodgy sausage roll at the airport). He had one bout of projectile vomiting an hour later, then another episode about midnight. He didn't really eat after that for the rest of the weekend. When he started to feel a bit better he started nibbling on plain rice crackers but very little else, I remembered the pouches, and he got so excited and wolfed down some dinner last night (simple chicken caserole - blended) and breakfast this morning (ready brek) in his pouch"

"He's still not 100% but he's been out scooting today and he managed to eat a proper meal this evening.  Having something in the pouch really helped him to gain back a bit of energy and has helped him get his appetite back which is always really hard after a tummy bug or other sickness"

Thank you Sebby for letting me share your photos. I'm so glad that you are on the mend now and tucking into proper food again. It's always a worry for us mums when our little ones stop eating for a while and although you know they'll come back round it's still hard building back up to proper meals when they are low on energy and still feeling a bit poorly. I have always found pouches (store bought or reusable) to be a fun / easy way to help get a few vitamins and some energy into them when needed....be it when they are tiny and teething or older and recovering from illness.
