For those of you that worry about using a microwave or hard plastic containers for your baby’s food there is another solution – Lillypots.   Based on the concept of a “bain marie” The pan fits neatly on top of a standard small pan and food can be defrosted and warmed from the gentle steam from the water in the pan below.

The pot holds 3 x 1oz cubes of food which is a perfect size when your baby starts to wean. You can store all your first baby foods in ice cube trays and pop them out as needed straight into one of the wells in your Lillypots.
